Have you ever wondered if you possess a superior level of intelligence? Goldbrain delves into this question daily! In the exploration of intelligence, the evaluation typically commences with assessing mathematical and logical skills. However, identifying an intelligent person encompasses various aspects, such as the capacity to swiftly comprehend intricate written texts and articulate precise thoughts in writing. However, an IQ test or a college admission test can provide great information about your intelligence level. The College Board, a private organization, introduced a test known as the SAT (originally Scholastic Aptitude Test), designed to assess college readiness.
SAT scores are deemed crucial by US universities in their candidate selection, with more esteemed institutions assigning greater importance to this indicator.
The SAT score distribution or the College Admission Test consists of two sections: Mathematical Problem Solving and Reading/Writing, each scored out of 800 points, culminating in a total score ranging from 400 to 1600. The SAT score distribution follows a bell curve, with 1000 representing the expectation value. An SAT score distribution of 1400 suggests a high level of intelligence. However, outstanding scores for top-tier colleges often commence around 1450 or higher due to intense competition.
While the SAT Score Distribution or the College Admission Test provides insights into paper smartness, it's imperative to acknowledge that social skills and practical aptitude play a significant role in real-life scenarios. In professions like management consulting, characteristics such as leadership, communication, and entrepreneurial drive are crucial and assessed through case interviews, aspects that SAT scores, or an IQ test cannot fully capture. Adequate preparation for interviews becomes indispensable for success in such fields.
ChatGPT, boasting an impressive SAT score distribution of 1400, teeters on the brink of being considered super smart. However, in comparison to the general American population, ChatGPT outshines about 97%, showcasing its intelligence. It is acknowledged that while ChatGPT may fall behind some exceptionally educated individuals, it remains an impressive entity, surpassing the majority of the population in terms of SAT score distribution or IQ tests.
In conclusion, while SAT scores, College Admission Tests or IQ Tests offer an indicator of intellectual capacity or education level, real-world success hinges on a blend of paper smartness and practical skills.

Did you ever wonder if you're super smart? Gold Brain deals with this matter every day. To judge Americans, GoldBrain uses a certain indicator which we will talk about in today's video.
By the way, my name is Gabriel Goldbrain, and my mission is to make super smart college graduates highly paid management consultants with a $100,000 base salary straight out of college. So if you think you're super smart, send me your CV. More information is under www.GabrielGoldBrain.com.
So, how would you assess whether a person is smart? I think it's a difficult question, but generally, you would say a smart person at least has to have some outstanding mathematical and logical numerical skills. But I think it's not enough. I mean, everyone knows the genius, the nerdy genius who can do every calculation but has problems articulating itself in socializing and so on. So there are other components to identifying a smart person. One of these things probably is understanding written texts. A smart person should be able to quickly understand even complex texts and summarize the information and respond to questions about the text. That would be generally considered a smart person, also generating texts describing his thoughts with high precision. Also, that would be considered smart. Dumb persons, they are not able to produce sensible texts quickly and describe their thoughts accurately. The good news is, myself did not have to invent this kind of test. There is a private organization called the College Board which invented a test like this. It's the so-called SAT test.
SAT originally stood for Scholastic Aptitude Test. Later, it was the Scholastic Assessment Test, then the SAT Assessment, and nowadays they just call it SAT. As its original name indicates, the SAT test is a test to assess college readiness. So US universities and colleges consider the SAT test results when they select and screen their candidates. It's an important indicator in the admission process. And the more renowned a college or a university undergraduate degree is, the higher the focus on this indicator to filter out the best candidates.
The SAT test has two sections: a mathematical problem-solving section and an evidence-based reading and writing section. For each of these two sections, test candidates can get 200 to 800 score points. So in total, the results of both sections are being added up, that the overall SAT test result shows a score from a minimum 400 to maximum 1,600 SAT test points.
The SAT test scores follow a bell curve distribution. An SAT score of about 1,000 represents the expectation value of the bell curve, which means 50% or about 50% of the candidates score less than 1,000 points, and 50% score more than 1,000 SAT test score points when they do the test. If you want to find out how Chat GPT scores doing the SAT test, keep watching this video and like and subscribe to my channel. I prepared a slide from which every American who took the SAT test can easily see how smart he is based on this indicator compared to the others. It's not only the person itself that can assess its smartness compared to the peer group. It's also colleges, universities, employers, and guess who, GoldBrain, who can assess a person's paper smartness. But don't forget, the paper smartness is not everything. If the person in life makes a strange impression, that may change the picture completely. He may be as smart on paper as can be, but if there is no social interaction, it's not worth a lot. At least when we talk about landing a job in management consulting, for that you need to demonstrate certain character traits like leadership skills, entrepreneurial drive, personal impact, excellent communication skills. These things, they cannot be tested by the SAT test. That's what you find out in an interview. And that's why I will prepare you for interviews with top management consulting firms if your goal is to become a top management consultant. So a super smart guy will go to my website www.GabrielGoldBrain.com and apply to the Goldbrain Success Training, which is free if you fail it. So there is no financial risk by enrolling in the Gabriel Goldbrain Success Training. Compensation is success-based only. Now, let's have a look at what SAT scores indicate a super smart person. For that, I prepared the chart. On the left-hand side, when you look at the leftmost part of the chart where you see a score of 700, that means if you have this score, only 4% of the American population scored less.
So that would not indicate a smart person. An SAT score of a thousand means that you outperform about 50% of the American population based on these test results. Which means if you're around the thousand range, you would be pretty much average smart. All scores higher than 1,000 SAT score points can be considered above average. But exceptional SAT scores start at an SAT score of about 1,400. If you apply for top colleges, it's better you got 1,450 or even better 1,500 SAT score points because your competition will be pretty strong. So what do you think?
What GoldBrain thinks about Chat GPT? Is it as smart as a typical graduate entering management consulting? Is it as smart as candidates that get accepted by the leading MBA Business Schools in the US? No, Chat GPT is not as smart. Chat GPT scores 1,400 on the SAT score, so it's at the border to super smart. But amongst the super smart guys, it still lags pretty much behind. But nevertheless, Chat GPT outperforms about 97% of the Americans. That means it's smarter than 97% of the Americans. So only 3% of the Americans outperform Chat GPT on the SAT test, which is impressive.
